My name is Troy Smith, and I’m a technology leader, entrepreneur, and author of The Outlet That Changed My Life and Your Family’s Daily Guide to Allergy-Friendly Cooking & Eating. With more than 25 years in insurance technology and a passion for storytelling, I share lessons from the front lines of leadership, family life, and extraordinary real-world experiences.

I live in Garland, Texas with my wife Lamonica and our four children Morgan, Noah, Pryce, and Presley. Much of what I write is shaped by our journey raising children with severe food allergies and autism, and by my deep belief that life’s toughest moments are never wasted.
